On November 11, 2006 Lotus Elise Owner Karl Ellzey organized a Lotus Fun Run that originated in Narcoossee, went up to Apopka, and ended in Seminole-Lake Gliderport (a sailplane field) in Clermont, Florida.  The well-organized event was attended by 10 Elises, 5 Esprits, 1 Solstice, 1 Corvette, and 1 Camaro.
